Its aim was to prove the command and control capabilities of the Deployable Air Command &#038; Control Centre (DACCC).<\/p>\n<p>Some of the participants were redeployed on Istrana air base. A spotter day was scheduled for 13th December (which, unfortunately, was also the only rainy day of the exercise).<\/p>\n<p>The most rare participants were Turkish Air Force F-4E Phantom II updated to Terminator 2020 standard from 111. Filo &#8220;Panterler&#8221;, the last operational Turkish unit flying the mighty &#8220;Rhino&#8221;.<br \/>\nAn old, noisy, dirty and obsolete airplane, but it also has some flaws.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0498_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0415_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0493_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Other foreign participants were USAF F-16s from Aviano:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0467_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0459_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>And finally the &#8220;home team&#8221;, the Italian Air Force 51\u00b0 Stormo:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0440_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0447_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.golfvictorspotting.it\/coppfold\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/_MG_0431_131223.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to the 51\u00b0 Stormo for having organized the spotter day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exercise Poggio Dart 2023 took part from 4th to 15th December.
