On Friday 31st May a media day was held in Aviano for exercise Astral Knight 2019, a multinational exercise about integrated air and missile defense systems involving Italy, USA, Croatia and Slovenia.

The most awaited participants were Hill AFB’s F-35As, redeployed in Italy for the first time:

Also a single airplane from Luke AFB was in Aviano:

Obviously F-16s based in Aviano participated too:
